The second round of grant applications from ERN-RND Members (Full or Affiliated), Supporting Partners or ePAGs is now open. Start date of projects is anticipated from September until November 2025.
Projects must be completed by the end of September 2027.
Call criteria:
- The Application has to focus on healthcare related activities which include among others
- Development of clinical practice guidelines
- Development of expert opinion-based recommendations
- Implementation of CPMS based care pathways and clinical decision support tools
- Development and/or validation of disease scales or severity scores
- Development and/or validation and/or implementation of highly specialized healthcare services directed to a cohort of patients affected by a disorder included in ERN-RND
- The application must bring about added value for ERN-RND.
- The application must be anchored in a disease group or working group of ERN-RND.
- The application has to involve at least 5 members or supporting partners of ERN-RND.
- The indicative maximum budget per application is 50.000 Euros. Budget exceeding this amount will need to provide additional justification for why this is the case.
Call procedure
- Applications need to be submitted until 30 May 2025 to the ERN-RND coordination office (Carola Reinhard), making use of the application template (see also end of page).
- Applications for additional funding of previously approved projects are permitted but must be accompanied by a justification, including a scientific and financial report on the work conducted so far.
- Review and prioritization of the received applications will be done by the ERN-RND management team.
- Members of the management team that are involved in a project application will exempt from reviewing and voting on these project application(s).
- Funding decision by the ERN-RND management team will be binding.
- Applicants will be informed at the latest 4 weeks after the deadline of the call.
